Contemporary Art Center Family Festival
April will be sharing her songs and stories plus a special fairy craft at the annual winter-themed Family Festival in the UnMuseum. Join April and other artists for a meet and greet with a real live penguin from the WAVE Foundation (from 12:00-2:00). Experiment with ice crafts, create your own art projects, and top the day off with an epic snowball battle (from 2-3pm).
Bay View, Michigan Woods Walk
In partnership with the Bay View Association, April Eight facilitates a week-long Community Arts Project. The Bay View Kids Club will be crafting fairy and gnome villages, and the songs and stories that go with them. Together, April and the children will develop puppetry and storytelling skills to share their tales with the broader community while learning about Little Traverse Bay's native flora and fauna.
LITTLE SOUNDS OF DEERFIELD

To be held at the Pavilion at Kingswood Park, kids and families will enjoy an hour of music and an hour of art making. All ages are welcome. You are welcome to sit in the Pavilion or bring your own chairs/blankets.

STEMulating Saturday Ukulele Jam
April Eight will be running a ukulele workshop in affiliation with the book “The Magic Ukulele” as part of the collaboration between BooksAlive! and The Gaskins Foundation STEMulating Saturdays. This is part of a larger weekly program. For more information, click here.
