Singing for joy, community, and connection — by the river and from the heart.
Our community choir gathers weekly from September through May to lift our voices together in song. We sing folk and traditional tunes, simple harmonies, and songs that speak to the soul — all taught in the oral tradition, with no sheet music and no auditions. Just come as you are, and sing.

Sing for the joy of singing – no auditions, just fun, relaxed rehearsals with a focus on enjoying singing in community.
Just bring your enthusiasm. All songs are taught by ear.
It’s OK to miss a few sessions - we all have busy lives. If you miss a session or three, no worries. Come when you can and we’ll be glad to see you.
Feel connected to others who share your love of song and want the positive experience of singing with a group. Build friendships with people of all ages and backgrounds, united by the joy of making music together.
No pressure, just pleasure – we sing for the love of it, not for performance. Any performance opportunities we are offered will be volunteer only.
For ages 9 and up; children must come with a singing adult.

Are you ready to share your voice and the joy of singing in a supportive, welcoming environment? The Riverside Community Singers is an a-political, intergenerational, secular, all-comers group. We believe in the power of song to bring people together.

Walk on Home – Live at the Leo Coffeehouse | March 2025
A few lovely volunteer members of the Riverside Community Singers joined April on stage for this heartfelt performance of her original song, Walk on Home, at the Leo Coffeehouse in Cincinnati.
It was a beautiful evening of music and community — thank you to the amazing audience and to everyone who sings with us by the river.
