Summer’s Last Hurrah…

Summer is almost over. Sigh… We’ve really had a gorgeous one here in the Midwest. I can’t believe we’ll soon see the leaves drop and snow fly. But for now, one last dip in the pool.

We made this little video while we were writing our “Summer Time Song” at one of my April Eight Songs for Peace Camps. We had so much fun and, wow, listen to that kid harmony singing!

I’ll be doing Camps all over the region next summer – watch for me – and if you have a great place for my Camp, contact me right here.

During the school year I’m doing Monthly After School Songwriting Workshops at area schools. I’ll also be doing several Artist-in-Residencies as well as a few Week-long Workshops. I’m excited to announce those as soon as they are pinned down.

I’m also delighted to be doing a workshop with Clifton-Performance Theatre. Our great cast of kids will collaborate with Carol the Playwright and April the Songwriter to choose and write the characters’ destinies and the songs that tell the tale. It is an 8-week camp starting October 2nd. Registration begins soon. Let me know if you want us to reserve your child’s spot. Ages 8-15.
