Great Day at Imago

I had a lovely day performing at the Imago Earth Center’s “Music in the Woods” event. Wonderful audience, wonderful people!

I find it particularly fun to play outside. And when we set our minds to imagining a woods on a snowy evening for a moment, I could feel the beauty and peace of the little grove we were in, despite the mosquitos nibbling on my arm. Sweet September.

A little more information on what exactly Imago is: Imago’s mission is to foster a deeper harmony with Earth by providing educational experiences, creating opportunities for discussion and community building, and conserving natural areas.
Imago was founded over 30 years ago by Jim and Eileen Schenk, two social workers, with the purpose of reconnecting people to the natural world. Through the years Imago has brought to the Cincinnati region innovative ideas on living sustainably.

Imago is part of an Eco-Village developing in the East Price Hill neighborhood on Cincinnati’s West Side. It is beautiful there – sign your kids up for a camp or take a class yourself. For more on Imago, go to imagoearth.org
